Who to contact

This policy covers the storefront, billing tools, and hosting-related support provided by extreme Hosting, Canada. For privacy questions or requests, email ExtremeHostingPro@Extreme.com with “Privacy request” in the subject.

Information used to run the service

  • Orders and billing: your email, order and invoice references, selected service, amount, currency, and payment/refund status.
  • Support: messages and files you choose to send when you ask for help.
  • Security and sessions: temporary session identifiers, sign-in attempts, and technical request information used to prevent abuse. Infrastructure logs may include IP addresses and request metadata.
  • Hosted content: files, worlds, configurations, or other data you place on the service. You decide what to host and are responsible for having the right to process that content.

Do not send sensitive information that is unnecessary for an order or support request. This storefront does not receive or store complete card numbers or CVCs; card entry takes place with Stripe.

Why we use it

We use this information to process orders, confirm payments, issue invoices, arrange or support service delivery, handle refunds, maintain security, and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. We may contact you about your order, service, billing, or an issue affecting your account.

The storefront does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Billing-access emails are transactional messages, not marketing subscriptions.

Service providers and partner stores

Stripe processes card payments and handles information submitted on its checkout under its own privacy policy. Email and hosting providers may process information needed to deliver messages and operate the service.

If you order through a partner store, that store sends the order details needed for payment and receives payment confirmation so it can fulfill the order. Its own account and purchase-area practices are covered by its privacy policy.

Our business location does not guarantee that every provider or server processes information in Canada. Ask us before ordering if you have a specific data-residency requirement. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or the protection of rights.

Retention and protection

We retain order and invoice records as needed for service administration, accounting, disputes, and applicable legal obligations. Support information is kept for the purposes of resolving and understanding service issues. Contact us if you need details about a particular record or service’s retention arrangements.

Billing access links expire after 15 minutes. Billing sessions last up to 30 minutes. Staff sessions have limited lifetimes and access controls. We use measures designed to restrict unauthorized access, but no online service can promise absolute security.

Ending a service does not automatically remove records we still need to retain. Server data and backups follow the arrangements for the particular service; keep your own independent backups.

Access, correction, and other requests

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, or request deletion or withdrawal of consent where applicable. We may need to verify your identity, and some requests may be limited by legal obligations, another person’s rights, or records needed to resolve a dispute.

Contact ExtremeHostingPro@Extreme.com first so we can review the request or concern. You may also contact the privacy regulator that applies to your situation. Information about privacy rights in Canada is available from the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

We update this policy when our practices change. Material changes will be communicated where required.
