Use the service responsibly

You may run lawful websites, applications, community tools, and game servers within your plan’s resource allocation. You are responsible for your users, software, licenses, and the content you host.

Keep software patched, restrict administrative access, and investigate unexpected traffic. A compromised service can harm other people even when the owner did not intend it.

Activity we do not permit

• Malware distribution, phishing, credential theft, fraud, or impersonation.
• Denial-of-service attacks, unauthorized scanning, intrusion, or attempts to bypass another system’s controls.
• Unsolicited bulk messaging, abusive mail relays, or use intended to evade spam controls.
• Illegal content, infringement of intellectual-property rights, or distribution of software or game assets without permission.
• Harassment, threats, exploitation, or content that violates applicable law.
• Interference with the shared network or attempts to access other customers’ data.

Resources and workloads

Use the CPU, memory, storage, and bandwidth allocated to your plan. Shared resources must not be used in a way that disrupts other customers. Contact us before running sustained high-load jobs, large public proxies, or cryptocurrency-mining workloads; they are not included unless expressly agreed.

Bandwidth allowances are monthly transfer allowances, not guarantees of continuous line-rate throughput. A listed port speed describes the connection, not a dedicated throughput commitment.

Reports and enforcement

Report suspected abuse to ExtremeHostingPro@Extreme.com with the relevant server address, time, and a concise description. Include evidence you are authorized to share; do not attempt to access a system to prove an issue.

We may ask for changes, restrict traffic, or suspend a service to investigate or stop harmful activity. Serious or urgent incidents may require action before notice. We will explain available next steps where practical and lawful.

Suspension does not automatically decide a refund request. Billing reviews follow the refund policy and applicable rights.
